September 2019: We hope that everyone had a wonderful summer. Yes, it’s that time again to start a new year of AAUW.

We hope to see everyone at the Membership Luncheon on Saturday September 14th at the Pavilion Restaurant. Please invite any friend that you think might want to join our friendly group.

Also the budget for the coming year will be presented and hopefully will be passed by the members. Our new Program Chairs, Dee Billeter and Marcia Hart have very interesting and fun programs planned. You will be able to meet our Tech Trek girls and hear the wonderful time they had at camp this past summer. And it is a chance to catch up with friends that you haven’t seen since May. This is an event you don’t want to miss.

May 2019:

Our Fund Raiser Pot Luck was a great success. We raised $2300.00 so far for Scholarship, Tech Trek, and Special Projects. Congratulations to all who participated and to those who couldn’t attend, but contributed. The evening was filled with good food and fellowship; a fun time getting to know each other better.

This month our general meeting will be the Installation Luncheon. The board decided to have the luncheon at a restaurant since we just had a potluck. The luncheon will be held on Monday May 27th at The Pavillion Restaurant at 11:00am. This event is open to all members so please attend if you can.

By now you have received an e-mail from the National Office to vote for officers and Public Policy issues. Another e-mail has been sent from the State for you to vote for State officers. It can be a bit confusing so vote twice.

We hope to see you all on May 27th to welcome in the new Board for next year. This will be the last get together until the Membership Luncheon in September.
